School is out for the year, and many families will be heading off for some fabulous family holiday experiences.
(See my note below on our Gold Coast holiday recommendations)

Let’s face it the big family holiday is more than fun, today it is has far reaching significance to boost jobs and support many Australian industries and  the national economy.  Last year we headed to the Gold Coast to wear out some of those 3 Park Multi-Entry Passes as well as catch up with friends and family.

This year we are moving house just before Christmas.  

Then in the blink of an eye we’ll all pack our children, the hope of the future, back into a barely functioning pre-industrialisation - factory like - education system.

If they pay attention they will learn that global education experts like the UK’s Sir Ken Robinson and Australia’s Kevin Donnelly agree that the current education system needs urgent and drastic changes.

Despite the best efforts of staff and teachers when our children return to school next year they will still be processed through an out dated and poorly performing education system that predates the steam age.

Sure the teaching staff are more highly trained and skilled today but when politicians promise improvement to education system...Turn It Up
