Last week I saw an interview with a left wing female author who has written a book (see links below) about the dangers of Tony Abbott if he were to become Australia's Prime Minister.
Her problem with Mr Abbott was that he’s a conservative Christian and her ramblings from that point were wildly speculative.
Lets remember his own wife works and he’s not going to do what rambling left wing antagonists accuse him of.
he’ll still be bound by the parliamentary system of government.
In fact the Greens - Labor coalition in power right now are also not going to legalise same sex marriages just as many people have said Tony Abbott is opposed to.
The hysteria that one person in power might hold to some different beliefs might sell some books because people want to understand what it means.
These types of attacks are more about the left trying to destroying the entire conservative side of politics with some biased opinions and political ramblings.
But to accuse Mr Abbott of some secret agenda to make Australia a Christian dictatorship ...

p.s. at the risk of giving this book and it's author more promotional oxygen I'll post some of the links here.....seems the old adage never let the facts get in the way of a good story applies......yet again! Unlike Rudd or the Gillard / Greens power hold on the parliament an Abbott led Liberal government, as in the Howard years, would be far more representative of modern Australia than the extreme Left and their ramblings suggest.
