For anyone keen observer of international news it is hard to ignore the
so called “Occupy Wall Street Protests”.

What started as a small group of people protesting over some local American Financial System issues has grown in number, and so have the issues they are protesting about.

Overly simplified it is as a battle between socialism and capitalism.

The problem with that analogy is that the governments around the world have propped up many large capitalistic enterprises and simply slipped billions of dollars into the pockets of failed capitalists.

In an ideal world the government support for those business would have required that the businesses use the public financial support they received to continue to  pay their workers to allow the business, the nation and the taxpayers to prosper.
And in an ideal world the executives responsible for the situation that required a government bail would not also pay themselves massive increases with the public bail out money they received.

and we live in an ideal world don’t we?
