Last week I missed a few days on air and so I’ll cut to the big issues this week

There was an issue that caught my eye last week when a 16 year old girl took legal action to stop her parents flying her out of the country and marrying her off.

It is an issue that shows the difference between forced marriages and introduction or arranged marriages.

There are some who will say that parents and other relatives know you better than you know yourself.

That may be so.  Especially if we grow up to become our parents, so then, why shouldn’t they be involved in helping you to choose your future spouse?

With the trend by some people to blame others for everything that goes wrong in their life

would  that kind of a person find arranged marriages just another excuse to blame their parents for something else....

Turn It Up
