Get help for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Pick Up the Peaces

Over the past few days many charity and welfare agencies have started to address issues of counselling people who have been traumatised by this disaster.
Our society recognises that repressing our feelings isn't as healthy
So as I mentioned yesterday, for the many volunteers, helpers, the many relief workers, emergency services staff as well as those caught up in the various aspects of this current natural disaster it is important that we too recognise the ongoing need to help those who help others.

Sure there are some who will take the attitude of “we just get on with it” and tough it out no matter what their mental condition is and that may be well and good in the middle of a disaster response.
Peer support, the help and love from loved ones, friends and work mates can and does help, I'll have the link to the picking up the peaces website on my blog.

because Post Traumatic Stress Disorder can be a problem for all of the community to deal with in helping those affected.
Sure some people will tough it out and try to prove how independent, tough and rugged they are by not seeking help, turn it up, and go get help.
