Coal policy burning up Australians

There has been some talk over what, at first, seems like contradictory talk coming from Tony Abbott about the Australian coal industry’s future.

The ALP would have Australians believe that Tony Abbott is in a tangle.

So let me explain how Australian coal will be affected by the Gillard  Carbon Tax and whysome investors are buy stocks in companies who export coal at the same time as the Carbon Tax is being introduced.

When we understand that Australian coal will still be exported overseas without a Carbon Tax as a cheap source of energy for overseas industries

BUT

... the Carbon Tax in Australia will make it more expensive for Australian industry to use that same coal in an attempt to deny Australian industry the same benefits of Australian coal energy sources.

That is what Tony Abbott is talking about.

Don’t get me wrong I love the idea of renewable energy, but the reality is that in the internationally competitive world of global business the Gillard Carbon Tax is designed to hand Australia’s international business competition an advantage and deny Australians that same advantage .

….. Turn it up,

I’m Michael Robinson
