Australia ...Still aLucky and Optimistic country

Listening to some people talk in recent years you could be forgiven for thinking that Australia has had better days.
Sure Australia has some challenges but lets take a reality check for a moment, we have it pretty good in this country that was once called the lucky country.
That isn't to say there isn't an overflowing ute full of things that could be done better, improved upon or mistakes that should not have been made, but all that just reminds us that Australia is an optimistically ambitious country and that optimist is both credible and robust.

WE all know things could be done better but generally speaking we have it pretty good and we still expect improvements.
But I cannot sit by and listen to anyone say the country has its best days behind us, sure each generation will have its own challenges.
But:
In Australia we don't sell or treat women and girls like property, we don't treat men like workplace tools to be discarded or tossed out when they are no longer useful, we don't accept the torture, murder, starvation or political victimisation of those who who disagree with the government, and that sort of thing still goes on in other parts of the world....just thought I'd mention for the next time someone tells you Australia's best days are behind it I hope your reply will be … Turn It Up.
