NSW Premier picks fight she is unlikely to win

I was more than a little surprised at NSW Premier KRISTINA KENEALLY 's ultimatum to the Labor party to drop NSW ALP president, Bernie Riordan for his recent comments.

Sure we all understand she is furious over what he said, but Premier do you have to pose for the angry look photos on The Punch website?

If one of your party's key people starts talking about loosing faith in the government you are running,, in this case someone quite influential in the union movement and the party, sure it is upsetting but this is the politics of democratic representation and loyalty is not a requirement, loyalty comes from results and the message the Premier seems to have missed is the public isn't happy with the results.

A lot of people have said that the Liberals are guaranteed a win at next year's NSW state election but I can't agree. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the ALP went to the election with a new team and an old tactic asking the public for a do over with a team of fresh faces and fresh policies and promises. If the Premier wants to throw down ultimatums to powerful party officials with her government's track record she is just as likely to be told to ….Turn it up. I'm Michael Robinson
