Lies not criticism damage the Prime Minister

I rarely like to think that I’m in agreement with Labor’s Graham Richardson, but watching the ABC’s Q&A last night Graham Richardson mentioned his concern that many people were mostly calling our Prime Minister by her first name, Julia, instead of by her office title.

In fact it is even worse than that.

Of course Julia Gillard’s name will always be associated with broken promises,
Other politicians have broken political promises, but never in my lifetime has a Prime Minister made such a strongly worded political promise, as Ms Gillard’s, saying;

“There will be no carbon tax under the government I lead”,

...and then broken it so brazenly …

… and then spent the entire focus of government day in and day out highlighting that to the expense of everything else in government!

The biggest mistake the Government could make is to think:

- that the people calling The Prime Minister by her first name or calling her by a nickname that includes the word liar - and what:

- they don’t count in the democratic process?
