Are Australians Racist? I say not all.

Yesterday, listening to Lawsie, I was quite surprised to hear him say something about he  his thoughts about Australians being a racist bunch, and then he went on to say it was perhaps because we are so far away from the rest of the world.

I don’t think we are at all, yes some people are racists.

Talk to many Pakistanis or Indians, or Chinese and Tibetans or Greeks and Turks and ask them how they feel about each other and you may just find some deep racist hatred between some members of some communities.

Particularly when there has been conflict between them over many generations.
But Australians are a little different.

In the main we get along.

Even despite the divisions of the Multi-divided-cultural-schisms that have been created when communities aren’t united but are split down artificial lines based on skin colour or place of birth.

Sure we might point out people’s differences but unless you are rude or an idiot in the main we don’t really seem to mind.
...But does that mean we are all racist?
